This session will offer a deep look and question and answer period to discuss the success, growth, and fidelity of Crystal Lake Central's AVID program which has grown to eight sections in 10 years!   Hundreds of our AVID students have gone on to achieve amazing post-secondary success and we will share how the concept of the "AVID FAMILY" endures beyond the classroom walls into our global society.  We are excited to share stories of inspiration and how we created an AVID culture within our building after 10 years of AVID student success!  

iPhone and Instagram required: I'm sure you've seen many TikToks and Instagram Reels in the past few years, but have you ever tried to make your own? Join this workshop designed to make video editing less intimidating, while we explore Instagram reels. (similar to TikToks) Throughout the session, you'll learn essential skills such as importing multiple videos, trimming clips, incorporating text and titles, and exporting your creations for use in classrooms, social media platforms, or any other desired outlet. Embrace video editing as your ally, realizing your first take doesn’t have to be perfect.
