With the recent increase in the number of Newcomers in our districts, it is important to be purposeful in how we support and instruct the students and families. We will share our journey to develop processes and procedures for welcoming Newcomers as well as resources we have found to be beneficial. Come with an open heart and leave with a full brain!

D-15 middle school students use IXL for math and LA. Come find out more on how to use it to improve student performance, support the math and LA curriculum and make it part of your daily plan. We will also show you how to use it for individual student data and how helpful it can be to identify at risk students or measure progress.
This is my 21st year in district 15! I’m a former 8th grade math teacher at Parkland - turned math interventionist! I am also the Treasurer for our teachers union in district 15, MEEA.
